Nearly 25% of students rely on tuition assistance to attend Notre Dame High School. Gifts to support our tuition assistance program help to maintain our tradition of making a Notre Dame education possible for the most qualified students regardless of their financial circumstances.
ThirtyOne Women is a giving circle of 30 women who commit to give a set donation each month for four years to provide a Notre Dame education for students from Our Lady of Grace Nativity School. Upon graduation, the student becomes the thirty-first woman in the circle. The funds raised by each ThirtyOne Women giving circle cover the costs associated with a high school education at Notre Dame, including tuition, books, uniforms, and other fees.
The Village Scholarship provides a four-year scholarship to a young woman of Black, African ancestry with financial need enabling the student to attend Notre Dame. Donors give the life-changing gift of a Notre Dame education, preparing students to be the leaders of tomorrow. Our diverse and inclusive student body is the fabric that amplifies social justice awareness and advocacy for all.
Donations of any amount are welcome, expanding the mosaic of diverse perspectives.
Endowment funds are critical to Notre Dame's financial stability. These permanently invested funds provide annual income for financial aid, operations and special awards. These funds reduce tuition dependency, lend increased stability to institutional financial planning and provide bottom-line support for Notre Dame's mission of providing a college preparatory education to students of all backgrounds.
Your employer may also match your gifts, doubling your support for the young women at Notre Dame High School. Through a corporate matching gifts program at your workplace you can make your gift go twice as far. Some companies will also match gifts made by retirees, spouses of employees, and even volunteer hours.
Contact your personnel or human resources department and fill out the matching gifts form used to initiate a match. For questions or to notify us of your intent to match your gift, please contact the Advancement office at advancementoffice@ndsj.org.

Here's how to make a gift of appreciated securities to Notre Dame High School:
1. Notify Notre Dame San Jose
Please notify us of all stock or securities gifts. A transfer document only gives the name of the stock and the value per stock. It can take months to discover the name of the donor who actually made the stock gift unless we hear from you first.
Enclose a letter stating the purpose of your gift. In a separate envelope, include a signed stock power form for each gift. Note that, except for your signature exactly as your name appears on the stock certificate, the stock power form should be blank. You may obtain a stock power form from your banker or broker.
