Personal Statement
What do you like best about teaching at Notre Dame? As VP of Student Affairs, there is such a wide range of daily experiences . . . no two days are ever the same! For example, today I spent the morning with students making breakfast for day workers at the St. Joseph Day Worker Center. During lunch I sat in with about 75 potential soccer and basketball athletes at their pre-season meeting. Toward the end of lunch, I stepped into the chapel to meet with several students discussing fasting during the month of Ramadan. It seems something exciting, important and profoundly educational happens every day. I love being a part of it.
