Personal Statement
I had a chance to read my admissions essay for Notre Dame, buried in my old documents. The things I mentioned then aren’t what they are now. 
I did things I never expected. I left behind things I never thought I would. 
But the one thing that hasn’t changed was the warmth and community I saw at Notre Dame when I first shadowed. It really was there. I grew into a leader like they said I would. And now, an alumna working at Notre Dame, the community is still there. The warmth remains. The same welcome I looked to then was waiting when I came back. 
I didn’t become who I expected to be. 
I became more. And I am so excited and honored to watch current students become more through their years at ND.
