Personal Statement
As someone who grew up in the Bay Area, I have always loved the many opportunities for exploration and advancement available, especially in STEM fields. Because of this, I found my passion in Biology and in learning Biology, and developed a yearning for inspiring the same passion in others, especially in young women like myself. I am a firm believer of life-long learning and that education can be found everywhere, even in the unlikeliest of places. As a newcomer to Notre Dame, I hope to continue the traditions and missions of Notre Dame and participate in the opportunities for making a difference in the community and women's leadership.
