Buy Books & Uniforms

Uniform Information
Notre Dame partners with Merry Mart School Uniforms, located in Santa Clara.  Families can order items on their online site, as well as purchase in-store.  You can find guidelines for the Notre Dame school uniform below:.
 
Formal Uniform

Select at least one from each column.

White Logo Shirt Bottoms Sweater/Sweatshirt
White uniform logo short sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt Gray uniform skirt (no more than four inches above the knee)

Uniform vest

White uniform logo short sleeve or long-sleeve Oxford shirt Gray or navy blue pants

Uniform v-neck sweater, cardigan sweater or blazer

  Socks/leggings (if worn) must be solid blue, black, burgundy, white or gray Formal uniform sweatshirt with ND crest
Informal/Casual Uniform

Select at least one from each column.

Polo/Oxford Shirt Bottoms Optional Sweater/Sweatshirt
White long sleeve polo or white, blue, maroon, short sleeve polo with ND logo

Gray uniform skirt (no more than four inches above the knee)

Uniform vest, v-neck sweater cardigan sweater or blazer (always with the uniform polo or Oxford shirt worn underneath)
White long or short sleeve Oxford with ND logo Gray or navy blue pants Navy or maroon sweatshirt with ND embroidered crest
  Uniform sweatpants (class sweatpants are not uniform sweatpants) ND navy zip-front sweatshirt, gray ND hooded sweatshirt or the navy blue co-curricular program sweatshirt (always with the uniform polo or Oxford shirt worn underneath)
 
Be sure to read Section Six: Notre Dame Dress Code in the student handbook. 
 
PE UNIFORM 
During PE classes, students must change into appropriate athletic clothes; students may not participate in physical education activities in their school uniform, unless directed by the teacher that they do not need to “dress out.” Appropriate clothing for PE class is as follows: 
• Bottoms: Solid black or navy blue shorts of an appropriate length; or solid black or navy blue yoga pants/leggings/sweatpants. 
• Tops: Solid black, navy blue, burgundy, gray, or white long or short-sleeved shirt; or a ND-affiliated top (i.e. I Heart ND t-shirt, class t-shirt, club shirt) 
 
 
 
 
Textbooks
Notre Dame partners with MBS Direct to provide an easy, one-stop option for purchasing the necessary textbooks for your student’s courses. Students may opt to purchase new or used books, to rent them or to access digital editions.  Click HERE to view a flyer of book ordering instructions. Options for each textbook are determined by the publisher and are listed on the MBS virtual bookstore and linked below. Should you wish to purchase a book from a different source, it is important to make sure it has the identical ISBN number as the required book.

CAMPUS BOOK BUYBACK:

DATE - Monday 5/23 through Friday 5/27, 2022
TIME - Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Friday 7:30 am to 3 pm.
LOCATION - Learning Commons
A quote must be created before dropping off the textbooks. The instructions are on the flyer.
 
After Friday 5/27, families can do online buyback on MBS and ship books with a provided prepaid label. 

BOOKSTORE OPENING FOR 2022-2023:

The online MBS bookstore will open on Monday, July 11, 2022.
1st week of free shipping $99 or over: Monday, July 11 through Sunday, July 17. Ends at midnight CST.
2nd week of free shipping $99 or over: Monday, August 1 through Sunday, August 7. Ends at midnight CST.

Please note that face coverings will be required. It is also recommended that students have a rolling bag or backpack for books and supplies. Lockers and hallway cubbies will not be available for students.
