On Friday, Jan. 23, Notre Dame held their annual Diversity Showcase & Night Market. With more than 500 guests and 120 performers in attendance, our community came together to support our student run businesses and celebrate our culture and creativity at ND.

Hallmark Five of a Notre Dame Learning Community is about embracing the gift of diversity. We show our participation in this hallmark every day with our curriculum, co-curriculars, and special events like Diversity Showcase.

Planned by one of ND’s leadership groups, Facing History and Ourselves, and Diversity Council, the showcase started off with a fashion show of student models presenting their different cultural attire. Shortly after this, our audience was able to witness an unforgettable 15 performances thanks to groups such as Vietnamese Student Association, Filipino Student Association, Latinas Unidas, Zamana, Black Student Union, Polynesian Dance Collective, and more.

Diversity Showcase celebrates our culture and community, giving us the opportunity to witness the beautiful cultures that surround us at ND.
