Thanksgiving break is a time to reflect on everything that we are grateful for and the love and joy around us. Whether through spending time with loved ones, traveling, or enjoying a nice Thanksgiving dinner with family, ND students had the opportunity to express their gratitude and relax during this week-long fall break.

A popular Thanksgiving tradition amongst ND students and others during this week is “Friendsgiving”. This is an informal Thanksgiving celebration with friends, typically held during the break. It’s usually a potluck-style dinner with guests bringing their own dishes, allowing friends to enjoy a good meal together as well as give thanks for their friendships.

Ultimately, Thanksgiving break was memorable for students and gave them a moment to catch up with friends and family and appreciate all the blessings and people in their lives.
