The time has come for the sophomore class to welcome our future little sisters to campus. “We’ve been planning it for a while and we are super excited to welcome the 8th graders to our campus!” says Thy Luong. As a member of the sophomore class council, she played a key role in organizing the event. Every sophomore has a specific and important role to play! Jobs were assigned based on the individuals’ specific talents and abilities. Some people were assigned to small group facilitation and learned how to interact directly with the 8th graders. Others are working in the background, creating welcome posters for the potential students or dealing with the sound equipment. Come next August, many of the 8th graders attending will be walking Notre Dame’s halls as students. Hopefully excited for their high school years and accompanied by us, their big sisters!
