Theater Revitalized - Inside the Production of 9 Girls

Since the pandemic, live theatrical productions at Notre Dame have taken a hiatus, until now. The newest production of Notre Dame San Jose, 9 Girls; a thrilling murder mystery is hitting the streets of San Jose. The play, 9 Girls, takes place in the shadow of World War II when a group of sorority sisters visit a remote cabin in the mountains. During that stormy weekend, the girls hear the news that Paula, one of their fellow members, was brutally murdered. Disarray spreads among the girls and a clue is revealed, but when another sorority member ends up dead in the closet, the girls soon learn that trusting the wrong friend can have disastrous results. 

Notre Dame’s theatrical tech teams have been working hard to design and build a wonderful set and thrilling characters for 9 Girls. As actors rehearse everyday to perfect their role and vintage props are collected for the stage, Notre Dame’s Theater Department is making a comeback that will be sure to impress. 9 Girls will be showing at the Hammer 4 Theater at Paseo De San Antonio from November 11 to 13 at 7pm.
