Welcoming Guests Virtually to Our Downtown Campus

Welcoming Guests Virtually to Our Downtown Campus

On October 17, Notre Dame held a virtual open house for potential students to explore academic programs and co-curricular opportunities. The faculty, staff and student ambassadors hosted meetings families could attend to learn more about ND.

Families started at a virtual Sunflower Plaza and were given the option to go to any campus building from Google Slides. From there, they would be directed to a Zoom meeting where they could learn more about each department and ask the staff and students any questions. Student ambassadors shared their own experiences relating to their department with the visiting families.

Pickles Sanjay ‘23 served as an ambassador for the English department, where they helped explain how “diversity and creative writing is integrated into our academic program through several projects and other activities.” Each ambassador had something unique to say about each of their topics. Despite the unique COVID environment, Notre Dame was still able to hold a successful open house for those who are interested in attending our school in the future.
