Homecoming Raises Money for Sister Circles

Homecoming Fundraiser

The Notre Dame spirit of sisterhood, community and service came together in beautiful symmetry last week as athletes, cheerleaders, classmates and friends worked towards a common goal - raising money for Sister Circles that will help ensure the continued diversity we all value so much. For the second year, students are raising money that will fund the education of an incoming student the year after they graduate. Friday's Homecoming game was the culminating event of a week of activities led by the Classes of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. During the week, class councils sold pins, tshirts, tea and other items during lunchtime and the proceeds from game day tickets, concessions and raffle tickets all directly benefited the Sister Circles. On Friday the freshmen competed aginst the sophomores in a friendly dodgeball competition before the juniors and seniors took the field for a flag football game. Food trucks and parent volunteers provided yummy treats, cheerleaders entertained the guests and the joyous sounds of laughter filled campus on a glorious fall day. The week's festivities wrapped up with the annual Homecoming Dance on Saturday night where students and their guests enjoyed some delicious food and excellent music while making memories of a lifetime!
