Notre Dame Student Book Reviews Featured on KQED Website

Students in English teacher Nikki Pfaff's class recently submitted book reviews for inclusion on the KQED Learn website. KQED Learn is an online platform that supports student inquiry, investigation and media making. It's a place where students can collaborate, interact and share their work with other students. Four students (seniors Juliana, Michael, Kelechi and Zainab) have had their book reviews, featuring their favorite reads, posted recently on the KQED platform. They are included below.

Ella's (a sophomore) review of The Catcher in the Rye will be posted on September 24 as part of the Great American Read program. The Great American Read list, compiled by PBS, features 100 of America's best-loved books and includes every genre, spanning five centuries and 15 countries!

As a KQED Teacher Ambassador, Notre Dame English Teacher Nikki Pfaff is part of a cohort of enthusiastic and energetic education leaders with strong digital skills who are passionate about KQED Education's mission to amplify the voices of our youth, increase civic participation and provide richer learning experiences. The KQED Learn platform is free for educators and students.
