Chris Johnson's 42 Introduction to Photography students recently took a walking field trip to the Martin Luther King Jr. Library to visit the 5th Floor Special Collections: California Room for a hands-on learning experience. They examined one of the first forms of 3D photo technology called stereoscope. They also viewed other types of photography such as daguerrotypes, tin types, and glass slides.
