Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend?
- All ND students are invited to attend and can purchase their tickets using the link above.
- Guests from other high schools can also attend! Click the Non-ND Student ticket link above to purchase.
- Ticket sales are open to all students at San Jose Diocesan schools (Bellarmine, Presentation, St. Francis and Archbishop Mitty).
- Students from other high schools can also attend but they must be hosted by an ND student.
- All guests must be high school students and will be required to present their current and valid 2025-26 student ID when they arrive at the dance. If the guest does not have a high school ID from 2025-26, a copy of their current class schedule with their principal’s/dean’s signature or business card must be brought instead. Non-ND students will not be admitted to the dance without one of these options.
- ND students and their guests must abide by all of the policies outlined in the student behavior section of the Student/Parent Handbook (starting on page 35), including the ND honor code, the tobacco, alcohol, drugs & controlled substances policy, etc.
Where is the mixer being held on campus?
- It will be held outdoors on the ND campus in Pardini Park and the 3rd Street Cafe area.
- Because it will be outdoors, please dress accordingly.
- There will be a coat check available.
What is the ticket price and what does it include?
- The price is $10 and all tickets must be purchased in advance. Ticket sales close at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 18 and absoutely no tickets will be sold after sales close in order to finalize the guest list.
- The ticket price includes dancing, games, a professional photo booth, a movie room, activities, music, water, snacks and fun!
- The first 200 attendees through the door will receive an outsidelaNDs sticker (designed by Syma '26).
- All tickets must be purchased through the online forms and there will be no tickets sold at the door. Tickets cannot be given to another student or transferred.
- Supplemental aid is available for ND students. Please email Mrs. Borromei to request the supplemental aid form.
What time can I show up/leave?
- The dance starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m., but for attendee safety, all students must arrive by 8 p.m. and cannot leave before 9:30 p.m. Only one gate will be open for entrance and exit.
- ND students requesting to leave earlier than 9:30 p.m. must have their parent/guardian email Ms. Battisti to request permission in advance.
Where can I park or get dropped off/picked up?
- Attendees can park or get dropped off in the ND/280 Faculty & Staff Parking Lot underneath 280 between 2nd and 3rd Streets.
- Enter the lot through the 3rd Street Gate on 3rd Street between Margaret and Reed Streets.
- For drop off, please proceed through the lot according to this map. There will also be cones and teachers to guide you through for quick and easy drop off.
- To park, please pull into any open space in the lot. On-street parking is also available around campus if the lot is full. The other parking lots around campus will not be open.
- There will be faculty and parent volunteers to help escort students from the parking lot to the campus entry gate. There will also be a parking lot attendant on duty during the mixer to ensure the students and their cars are safe.
- For their safety, please do not drop off attendees along Reed, 2nd or 3rd Streets. If you will need accessible parking, please email Mrs. Borromei (cborromei@ndsj.org).
- Pick up after the dance will also be in the ND/280 Parking Lot.
Where do I enter the mixer?
- The entrance gate is the Reed Street pedestrian gate on Reed Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets.
- All attendees will check in there and only those with pre-paid tickets will be allowed to enter.
What do I need to bring?
- All ticket sales are electronic and there are no paper/printed tickets. Once you have bought your ticket and paid, you will receive an email from GoFan, our payment partner, with your digital ticket. You will need to access your ticket at the check-in table the night of the mixer, so make sure that it's in your email or the GoFan app and that you can open it from your phone. If your parent/guardian purchased your ticket for you, make sure they forward you the email with the ticket so that you can access it that night. No screenshots will be accepted. If you cannot locate your GoFan ticket, please email Mrs. Borromei (cborromei@ndsj.org) for assistance.
- ND students: do not need to bring anything.
- Non-ND students: please bring your current and valid 2025-26 student ID. If you do not have a high school ID from 2025-26, please bring a copy of your current class schedule with your principal’s/dean’s signature or business card. Non-ND students will not be admitted to the dance without one of these options.
- No outside food or beverage will be allowed on campus.
- Bag checks will be conducted upon arrival.
What’s the dress code?
- Please dress casually and accordingly with the ND Student/Parent Handbook guidelines under Free Dress on page 50.
- Dress to the weather since the mixer will be held outside and wear or bring comfortable shoes.
Which bathrooms will be open?
- The Manley Hall first floor bathrooms and Center for Women's Leadership first floor bathrooms will be open.
Can I request a song?
- Sure! Just make sure it’s safe for Sister G’s ears.
- Please note that this is a request form and it's not guaranteed that your song will be played.
