Student Announcements

On this day in 1973, the Roe v. Wade decision reshaped our nation and opened the conversation about reproductive rights, access to healthcare, and the dignity of choice. We still recognize that many still struggle to receive the healthcare they deserve. Barriers of race, income, geography, and systemic injustice continue to silence and endanger lives. We are called to honor the dignity and sacredness of each person. This same love and call to dignity is what we celebrate in our Diversity Showcase. This event reminds us of the beauty and strength that comes when every culture, identity, and story is seen, honored, and celebrated.

The diversity of our ND community is a living reflection of St. Julie’s vision of love without boundaries, which is a love that does not divide but unites. Our Notre Dame hallmarks remind us, “We educate for and act on behalf of justice, peace, and care for all creation.” Let us carry this call forward: to advocate for equity, to lift every voice, and to live as instruments of healing and peace in the world.
Let us pray. God of justice, we lift up all who are vulnerable, all who are denied care, and all who long for a more compassionate world. Give us the wisdom to act with justice, the strength to speak with courage, and the love to see Your goodness in every person. May our hands and hearts be instruments of Your peace. In Your name we pray, Amen.

     - Find free, on-street parking on the surface streets around campus
     - Park in the City of San Jose's I280/First Street parking lot and either pay the $5 daily rate at the kiosks in the lot or purchase monthly passes through the City of San Jose
Students in the class of 2027 will be able to enter the lottery for the 2026-27 school year via an interest form that will be posted in the spring.
