Student Announcements

Our 15th Annual Sister Project is a wrap! Our annual donation drive created a small mountain of period products gathered by our community. This project, which connects with our San Jose neighbors, has its origins in the true spirit of community passed on to us by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

In summary:

  • over $2500 donated through our online campaign
  • approx 7200 pads
  • approx 6000 tampons
  • over 200 pairs of undergarments (various sizes)
  • over 100 donors
  • 23 campus ministry CP reps who supported this project and cheered on their homerooms
  • all items to be delivered to Sacred Heart Community Service

Congrats to the Stingrays for being the winning top grade level! And to the Klasila-Fitz CP, for being our top CP (winners of an ice cream party!) We are so proud of everything we did last week! Thank you to those who supported this project.

Let us pray.

God,
You bless us with equal measure in your love.
Let us learn to love our neighbors more deeply,
so that we can create peaceful and just communities.
Inspire us to use our creative energies
to build the structures we need
to overcome the obstacles
of intolerance and indifference.
May You provide us the example needed
and send the Spirit to warm our hearts for the journey.
Amen.

Prayer adapted from USCCB, Prayer for Community

Student Parking Information
Due to the limited number of parking spaces available in the ND/280 faculty and staff parking lot, spaces will be allocated to seniors only via a lottery system for each semester. Underclass students and seniors who did not receive a space in the lot have the following parking options:
     - Find free, on-street parking on the surface streets around campus
     - Park in the City of San Jose's I280/First Street parking lot and either pay the $5 daily rate at the kiosks in the lot or purchase monthly passes through the City of San Jose
Students in the class of 2027 will be able to enter the lottery for the 2026-27 school year via an interest form that will be posted in the spring.
