Student Announcements

As we recognize National Catholic Schools Week and look toward our Foundress Day next week, may this community continue to grow in unity, respect, and compassion. We thank Saint Julie Billiart, whose courage and faith continue to shape who we are. In the face of suffering and uncertain times, she chose strength, hope, and service; believing that education could change lives and open doors for those who were often overlooked. Her vision, with the support of Francoise Blin de Bourdon, became the foundation of the Sisters of Notre Dame, where we, as young women, are encouraged to learn, to lead and to serve. May her example remind us to persevere through challenges, to trust in our purpose, and to use our gifts to lift up others.

Let us pray. God, may we learn to listen with open hearts, to honor both our differences and our shared values, and to build a learning community where every person is seen and valued. Inspired by Saint Julie’s strength, may we choose courage when things are difficult, kindness when it is needed most, and faith in the goodness we can bring into the world. In the name of all that is good and holy, Amen.

Due to the limited number of parking spaces available in the ND/280 faculty and staff parking lot, spaces will be allocated to seniors only via a lottery system for each semester. Underclass students and seniors who did not receive a space in the lot have the following parking options:
     - Find free, on-street parking on the surface streets around campus
     - Park in the City of San Jose's I280/First Street parking lot and either pay the $5 daily rate at the kiosks in the lot or purchase monthly passes through the City of San Jose
Students in the class of 2027 will be able to enter the lottery for the 2026-27 school year via an interest form that will be posted in the spring.
