Personal Statement
What inspired me to join the Notre Dame community was its bold commitment to developing young women as leaders grounded in compassion, justice, intellect, and courage. Throughout my career in education, I have been drawn to institutions that believe learning should extend beyond academics and into the formation of the whole person. Notre Dame’s emphasis on Catholic social teaching, women’s leadership, innovation, and community resonated deeply with both my professional values and my personal sense of purpose.

My leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that leadership is fundamentally about building people, not simply managing systems. Strong leaders create clarity, trust, and momentum while empowering others to grow into their own strengths.

My life motto is: “Build what matters, and build it with purpose.”

This motto reflects both my professional and personal approach to life. I believe our work should contribute to something meaningful, whether that means developing innovative educational programs, mentoring students, strengthening communities, or helping others discover confidence in themselves. Purpose gives direction to hard work, and meaningful relationships give purpose its lasting impact. I strive each day to approach my work with intentionality, integrity, optimism, and the belief that education has the power to transform lives.
