Mark’s journey at KPMG began in 1988 as an Associate, eventually propelling him to his current role as the Head of Business Development Tax Technology. With an extensive background, Mark specializes in guiding companies through intricate US federal income tax considerations linked to both domestic and international corporate acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings. His expertise spans taxable and tax-free acquisitions, structuring for public offerings, leveraged buy-outs, as well as tax-free "spin-offs" or "demergers."
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark is a devoted father to two college children and divides his time between Maryland and the Bay Area. Notably, he has contributed his insights to the Hillbrook School Board, where his children were educated.
