Eileen is currently General Partner of Black Opal Ventures, a female minority-led venture capital fund investing in early-stage technology companies. She formerly was Managing Director for In-Q-Tel, the not for profit venture capital partner for the US intelligence community and her allies. Eileen Tanghal and her husband own franchises of the CoderSchool, an after-school enrichment program.

In her spare time, Eileen enjoys learning languages, travelling, and investing in real estate. Her children Alex and Lily keep her busy most days.
