Acting & Directing

Notre Dame students produce two mainstage shows each year, and roles are open to all students regardless of previous experience. Students also have the opportunity to perform in a professional theater through our downtown partner, City Lights Theater Company, who hosts our fall production.

Technical Theater & Design

Technical theater offers an opportunity to explore the world behind the scenes. Students design and produce sets, costumes, lighting, sound and props and run marketing campaigns for our two mainstage shows. They also provide technical design and support for music, dance and ASB events.

Student Leadership

Students at NDSJ choose the fall play and spring musical each year through a democratic process open to the whole school. Many students act as peer directors, choreographers, technical directors or stage managers and develop vital leadership skills that support them throughout life.
