The Geometry Honors classes presents their City Project Buildings on May 17th from 3-4:30 in the Learning Commons. The City Project is a semester long project in which students identify the needs of a certain community within Santa Clara County and design a building that addresses these needs. Students apply the mathematical concepts they have learned over the course of the year to architecture and city and building planning. They develop blue prints and create a 3-dimensional rendering of their building using SketchUp. The presentation evening culminates their experience of the project through the semester.
