Linda attended Notre Dame High School, San Jose. She went on to earn a BA in English and a Single Subject Credential from San Jose State University. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Santa Clara University. Linda taught English and served as Academic Vice Principal at Archbishop Mitty High School until she changed careers to become Human Resources Director/ Chancellor for the Diocese of San Jose.  She retired in 2012.

Linda and her husband Ken enjoy traveling and spending time with their blended family of six sons and 18 grandchildren. They walk at least three miles daily and work on jigsaw puzzles in their spare time.
