City as a Classroom: Putting a Face on Buddhism

Recently, students in World Religions took advantage of the diversity in our neighborhood and traveled to the Vietnamese Buddhist Temple Tinh Xa Ngoc Hoa, a place of worship nestled in the bustling heart of downtown San Jose.  Leaving their shoes outside on the sidewalk, students entered the temple in silent respect for the Buddhist ways.  more
