Notre Dame's Wizard of Oz Receives Three Top Honors Nominations!Monday morning, San Jose Stage's Top Honors Program released its nominations for excellence in local high school musical productions. Among those nominated are two Notre Dame students and the Wizard himself! Scenic Designer Emily Bordelon '13 and Make-up Designer Maddie Campione '15 received nominations for Student Achievement in Technical Theater. Kehillah High School Junior Noah Lerner, who played the dual role of Professor Marvel and Oz, received a nomination for Best Featured Actor. more
Expressing Contemporary Social Issues Through ArtNotre Dame students love supplementing their schoolwork through field trips, and our downtown location makes these excursions a frequent chance to add hands-on learning to the curriculum. Students in Eran DeSilva's Contemporary Social Issues class recently walked to the nearby San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) to create prints reflecting what they have learned in the course. more
The Janksters at FIRST Robotics World ChampionshipFrom our small workspace in Donnelly to the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, the Janksters flew 2084 miles to compete in the FIRST Robotics World Championships. Still feeling the excitement from winning the Silicon Valley Regional, our team arrived in Missouri, eagerly awaiting the start of an amazing experience. more
