She wished for the past,
Just with modern inventions,
She hated the day,
But slept through the night.
She dreaded being old,
But wanted to age,
She wanted a friend,
But hated commitment.
He dreamed of the future,
With olden-day culture,
He hated the darkness,
But light stung his eyes.
He looked forward to aging,
But wished he was young,
He hated all people,
But needed a friend.
