Confirmation Parent and Sponsor Information Night -- There is a meeting on November 5 from 7-8:30pm in the Learning Commons for parents and sponsors of juniors and seniors who will be participating the ND Confirmation Preparation Program this year. Please contact Ms. Yavorsky with questions.   

Winter sports information night is on Wednesday, October 29th, 6:00 PM Learning Commons  Athletes will need to complete the necessary forms to try out, further information can be found on our website at:

Basketball and soccer tryouts will be on Monday, November 3rd, all participants will need to have completed the sports physical form, please click here for information.

Revolution Prep is offering a FREE ACT or SAT practice exam for Juniors at Notre Dame on Saturday, November 22nd.  The deadline to enroll is Tuesday, November 18th.  To sign up go to or call 1-877-738-7737.

Junior Family College Information Night, Nov. 19th, 7pm Learning Commons
Juniors AND their parents should attend this very important event to begin the college search process.  Parents will be assigned their own Naviance accounts and will hear about how to sign-up for family appointments with Mrs. Holohan.  The breakout sessions will include:  presentations by admissions reps from in-state and out-of-state private and public universities, financial aid, and arts portfolio preparation.

Parents and guardians are invited to the parent education session "Parents and Daughters Getting Close Again" on November 4 at 2pm - 3pm in the chapel at Notre Dame.  Student are also able to attend as this session is during their collaboration time.  Amy Powell will facilitate this lively talk. On October 30 at 7:00pm Notre Dame will welcome stem cell researchers Dr. Uta Grieshammer, CIRM and Dr. Sarah Heilshorn of Stanford to discuss current research and applications.  Don't miss this opportunity to hear from experts in the research field.  Join us at 7pm in the learning commons, Manley Hall. The Women's Spirituality Group meet on Tuesday mornings at 7:45am in ND Chapel. They will be exploring "Sisters in Scripture".  For further information please contact Mary Dern Walker. If you can join this group please RSVP here.

 "Mag Drive!", Notre Dame's annual student fundraiser helps to fund student programs, activities, clubs and events. Notre Dame receives 50% of the subscription price and another 5% to spend on prizes!  Shop Now! For the school and your daughter to receive full credit for participation, type in Notre Dame's school # 2650513 on Great American's website and be sure to include her name. 

Sophomore and junior parents, we will once again be working with the city of San Jose to provide parking for students under the 280 overpass.  You can find additional information here.   Parking permits are $300 for ten months.  If you have a parking permit for the current year, you will need to obtain a new one for next year.
