Fast Facts about the Notre Dame Performing Arts Department:
  • Notre Dame Performing Arts provides students with the opportunity to develop skills and talents while taking reasonable risks to grow and explore new possibilities.
  • Through core course offerings, students can take one year of performing arts that meet the UC/CSU requirement.
  • In addition to the core course offerings, students can elect to take advanced courses to deepen their skill and study.
  • Our Co-Curricular offerings give hands on training and experience to students in various medium. 

  •  Save the Date! - VAPA Spring Showcase 2015

    Bringing our year to a close, come celebrate with us through the arts! VAPA is going out with a BANG! From Monday, May 18th to Friday, May 22nd, all students will have the opportunity to explore the various visual and performing arts during lunch. With short showcases and open makers spaces, the Notre Dame student body is welcome to get creative together! Friday night will conclude with a visual arts reception in the Learning Commons, followed by a performing arts showcase in JB Hall and surrounding areas. Come one, come all!

  • Symphonic Band Wraps Up Year With Performance at Sobrato Theater

    The combined musical talents of Notre Dame and Bellarmine students wowed audiences last night at the Sobrato Theater where they performed for the final time this season.  Senior Kristen Anderson received the John Phillip Sousa Award for her outstanding musicianship as well as her leadership skills. Congratulations to Kristen and to Gabrielle Cabebe, who have both participated for the past four years.
