Welcome to Notre Dame High School's Forensic's Page!

Our program fosters intellectual growth, communication and leadership skills in encouraging yet competitive scholastic competition. Students participate in over 30 local, regional, state and national competitions, with ND students receiving accolades across all levels of competition. Last year, ND students placed 15th in the state in Impromptu Speaking, 14th in the State in Original Advocacy, in the top 24 in the State in Parliamentary Debate, 24th in Extemporaneous at the Catholic Nationals Tournament, and in the top 6 students in the entire nation for the National Forensics League Student of the Year. We're ranked the 18th club in the country out of more than 140 in Parliamentary Debate according to the prestigious PointofInformation rankings, with 3 ranked teams last year. Notre Dame competes in the Coast Forensics League, the California High School Speech Association, the National Catholic Forensics League, and the National Forensics League.
