Endowment funds are critical to Notre Dame's financial stability. These permanently invested funds provide annual income for financial aid, operations and special awards. These funds reduce tuition dependency, lend increased stability to institutional financial planning and provide bottom-line support for Notre Dame's mission of providing a college preparatory education to students of all backgrounds.
Receiving financial aid often plays a large role in a family's decision to enroll. Endowed scholarships are an investment in the future of our students, the School and the legacy of the donor. A fully endowed scholarship will cover the cost of full tuition at Notre Dame annually. A fully endowed scholarship gives the donor the opportunity to perpetuate the honor or memory of a special individual.
Named Scholarships and Awards may also be given as an outright gift or pledged over a specific period of time. They are often made in honor or memory of an individual close to Notre Dame.
If you have any questions, please call the Advancement Office at (408) 294-1113 ext. 2158, from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. You may also email Beth Fox at firstname.lastname@example.org

Allison Lawrence Travel Scholarship
In Memoriam, a scholarship fund has been established in honor of Allison Lawrence ‘04.
The Allison Lawrence ’04 Award for French Travel created in memory of Allison Lawrence, Class of 2004, who passed away in May 2007 from cancer. Allison was a vibrant young woman who had a passion for all things French-the language and the culture. While at Notre Dame she was able to travel to France and Spain with her classmates and teachers and completely immersed herself in the experience.
This award serves as a testimony to Allison’s spirit. Your gift both honors her memory and provides a Notre Dame student the opportunity to participate on the next journey to France and Spain. To donate online, click here.
