SCU Dempsey-Cronin Invitational (read more)

Prerana Vaddi and Adrienne Furniss went 4-1 in prelims and were 7^th seed, breaking to Quarter finals (and losing on a split 2-1 decision in that round…the team they faced ended up in the finals. )Nhada Ahmed and Arielle  Limberis went 3-2 in prelims and were 15^th seed.  They actually knocked out the #1 seed and #1 speaker in Octos to break to Quarters…amazing! Meredith Duflock and Shruthi Basireddy went 3-2 in prelims and ALSO broke all the way to Quarters. Yes, three teams in elims and all made it past Octos, the best we’ve ever done!In addition, Nureen Ahmed and Ameera  Naguib went 3-2 in prelims and were 19^th seed, just missing breaking.Audrey Barber had a fantastic showing, going 4-2 and as 20^th ranked, just missed the break as well.  Especially impressive considering there were 80 LD debaters!!
