Notre Dame Forensics Superstar Recognized Nationally!
Notre Dame senior Prerana Vaddi has been selected as one of only six outstanding high school seniors from across the country as a finalist for the National Forensic League (NFL)’s National Student of the Year Award. The National Student of the Year award recognizes the one student out of NFL’s more than 120,000 student members who best embodies the NFL Code of Honor: Integrity, humility, respect, leadership, and service. Nominees must also demonstrate strong academic credentials and a commitment to the speech and debate community.
Finalists for the award will interview with an esteemed panel of judges during the national tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2012 National Student of the Year will be announced Friday, June 15, during the national awards assembly in front of more than 5,000 tournament participants and audience members.
