As Notre Dame embarks on its 161st year of educating young women, we take a look back at our long and varied history and the ties that bind Notre Dame women through the decades.  Family legacies as rich as the few included here are something not many schools can claim.  Some families have members that date back to the school's origins and the days when the O'Connor Mansion housed an orphanage.  One thing remains constant - the pride and sisterhood lives on from generation to generation.
