He spent the early part of his career in engineering and then moved to sales and marketing.
Ryan was on the Pioneer High School Robotics team#668 Apes of Wrath for four years, and he was team captain for three of those years. He led the team to receive the Xerox Creativity award at Silicon Valley Regional in 2007, they were finalist at the Silicon Valley Regional 2006 Aim High Game. Ryan also mentor Leland #604 Quicksilver and was the Program Manager for 2008 WRRF Cal Games.
