Notre Dame Lacrosse team enjoyed an awesome experience at the San Jose Stealth lacrosse game last Sunday, April 13. The team was invited by a local radio station to compete in a "DJ" challenge. Two disk jockeys from the local radio station KRTY teamed up with the ND lacrosse team to take on another DJ and lacrosse players from Presentation High School. The challenge took place during halftime at the San Jose Stealth game in the HP Pavilion. Our girls won the "friendly competition" and were talked about at the KRTY morning show the following day.
To go along with the halftime show, Notre Dame parents, lead by Mr. Tom Weekes, threw a huge tailgate party for all the players and their families outside the arena prior to the game. It was a wonderful time enjoyed by all!
Special thanks goes out to our "fearless" lacrosse leader, Coach Denise Krogen, and all the parents, especially Mr. Tom Weekes, for organizing and arranging this wonderful event.
Way to go Regents!
