Endowment funds are critical to Notre Dame's financial stability. These permanently invested funds provide annual income for tuition assistance, operations and special awards. These funds reduce tuition dependency, lend increased stability to institutional financial planning and provide bottom-line support for Notre Dame's mission of providing a college preparatory education to students of all backgrounds.
Endowed Scholarships
Receiving tuition assistance often plays a large role in a family's decision to enroll. Endowed scholarships are an investment in the future of our students, the School and the legacy of the donor. A fully endowed scholarship will cover the cost of full tuition at Notre Dame annually. A fully endowed scholarship gives the donor the opportunity to perpetuate the honor or memory of a special individual.
Named Scholarships and Awards may also be given as an outright gift or pledged over a specific period of time. They are often made in honor or memory of an individual close to Notre Dame.
