After an exciting, competitive, grueling, long, tiring, did I mention long? weekend at Milpitas High School, ND Forensics had a FANTASTIC showing. This tournament, the biggest ever put on by our league, was even covered on the front page of the San Jose Merc!
Saturday saw a huge slate of competitors...and ND girls got right in the mix! Everyone did a great job against tough competition, but a huge congrats to the following students:
Prerana Vaddi ('12) broke to semi finals (top 14 students) in both extemp and impromptu...while she barely missed finals in extemp, even GETTING to semis in these events is HUGE...there were 120+ students in impromptu!
Madhulika Krishnan ('12) came in 4th overall in Dramatic Interp! Wow is all I can say. Not only is this her best varsity showing, but she was in the top 5 of a slate that included National champions! I predict great things for her this year.
Sunday was the debate team's turn to shine. Big congrats to the following...even though our team was young, they improved GREATLY over their first competition at Menlo-Atherton.

I'd also like to say that our Frosh who competed (Kendra Glenn, Alexa Nazarian, Domenica Domiray & Hanna Karraby) did an awesome job...while they still have some developing to do, they were holding their own against Varsity and did an excellent job.
