[Library Orientation]- Powerpoint presentation

The library is a place to study. Students are asked to whisper or talk softly at all times. No gum chewing, eating or drinking in the library. Only water is allowed, but not near the computers.

Circulation: Books and magazines circulate for 3 weeks and may be renewed. Current issues of magazines can be checked out for overnight.

Overdue Notice: Overdue notice will be sent to students by email every Friday. Although we don't charge library fines for overdue books, students are responsible for returning materials on time. All checked out materials should be returned to the library by the end of May. Students will not be allowed to take Spring final exams if fail to do so.

Loss or Damage: Replacement price will be charged for the loss or damage of any book or magazine.

Internet Access: The library computers are to be used for academic purposes only. A student must have a "Notre Dame High School Student Technology Use Agreement" signed by a parent to be eligible for this privilege. Any violation of this agreement will result in a Saturday detention.

Printing Costs: Students are given $10 to their printing account each semester. Black and white printing is 10 cents per page. Color printing is 50 cents per page.

Photocopy Costs: A $5 copy card is sold in the library. The cost for photocopying with a personal copy card will be 10 cents per page, otherwise, it will be 15 cents per page.
